Ms Silai Zaki

Ms Zaki is a career officer with the Department of Foreign Affairs and Trade and was most recently acting Assistant Secretary, Defence Strategic Policy Branch.

She has previously served overseas in Spain and as an Adviser to the Minister for Foreign Affairs and Minister for Women, and the Minister for Home Affairs.

Ms Zaki holds a Master of Laws (International Law) from the Australian National University, a Post Graduate Diploma in Legal Practice from the College of Law and a Bachelor of Laws/Business Administration from Macquarie University. She speaks Spanish, Pashto, Dari and Hindi.
