Ms Heather Ridout AO

Ms Ridout is the first woman to be appointed to the role of Australia's Consul-General in New York. A former Chief Executive of the Australian Industry Group, Ms Ridout brings four decades of experience to the role. She was most recently Director of Sims Ltd and Director of Australian Securities Exchange (ASX) Limited.

Ms Ridout holds a Bachelor of Economics (Honours) from the University of Sydney.
