Summary of publication

The Australian-Solomon Islands Aid Partnership establishes the shared vision of the Solomon Islands and Australian governments to ensure development cooperation contributes as effectively and efficiently as possible to sustained and inclusive economic growth and reduced poverty in Solomon Islands.

The partnership, built on the principles of equality, transparency and mutual benefit, guides development cooperation between Solomon Islands and Australia in line with Australia's Aid Investment Plan – Solomon Islands 2015-16 to 2018-19 and Solomon Islands' National Development Strategy 2016-2035. It contains target results the governments expect to achieve in Solomon Islands in 2017-2020.
