Solomon Islands Aid Program Performance Report 2017-18

Summary of publication

The 2017-18 Solomon Islands Aid Program Performance Report outlines progress against the three strategic pillars Solomon Islands and Australia have prioritised under our 2015 Aid Investment Plan (AIP): supporting stability, enabling economic growth and enhancing human development.

Australia's focus in 2017-18 was on supporting Solomon Islands to improve literacy and numeracy, deliver primary health services, enable economic growth to support a pathway out of poverty and build a more robust economy, and to maintain stability. The program continues to perform well.

In 2017-18, Australia's total official development assistance budget to Solomon Islands was $136.9 million. DFAT continues to lead and coordinate Australia's development program in Solomon Islands.
