Summary of publication
This report summarises the aid program's progress in the Philippines in 2012–2013.
Australia's official development assistance to the Philippines is guided by the Australia–Philippines Aid Program Strategy (2012–17). This report shows that progress in four of the strategies objectives–education, climate change/disaster risk reduction, peace and security and governance–is on track so that the objectives will be achieved by the end of the country strategy. Progress against the fifth objective–local government capacity–is less than expected at this time and remedial action is being taken.
