Summary
This report contains findings on the UN JPMNH (Joint Program on Maternal and Neonatal Health) progress of implementation and recommendations for the second and final phase of the program.
Description
The United Nations Joint Program on Maternal and Neonatal Mortality Reduction is relevant to the policy of the Philippine Government and the needs of the Filipino people to minimise maternal mortality and reduce child mortality. Improving implementation of monitoring and evaluation and establishing greater convergence of activities among UN agencies and DOH will enhance the program's effectiveness, efficiency and impact particularly in its second and final phase.
