Summary of publication

This review assesses the impact of Public Sector Improvement Facility-funded activities on the public sector in Samoa to help determine how effective the facility has been in achieving its goals. The findings of the review will inform decisions by the partners on future support to the public administration sector, while its recommendations will inform decisions on the future direction of that support. It includes:

• an executive summary on the purpose of the program to strengthen cooperation and collaboration between public service agencies, the private sector and civil society
• introduction, background and purpose of the review
• information on the background, management, including fund allocation, of the Public Sector Improvement Facility
• findings on the impacts of Public Sector Improvement Facility projects
• recommendations
• 4 annexes.
