Summary of publication
The mid-term review of AAPTIP assessed the program's progress against design and its prospects of achieving its intended results. It aimed to identify lessons for the remainder of the program, as well as contribute to thinking on possible future interventions in the trafficking area.
The report makes thirteen recommendations to improve the project's strategy and approach, operations, and advocacy and research. DFAT responded to these recommendations in its management response. The report was finalised and approved on 22 December 2016.
The management response noted that the mid-term review report identified modifications that were made immediately, as well as longer-term recommendations.
DFAT considered the review to be of acceptable quality and agreed that it met the requirements set out in the terms of reference. DFAT's responses to specific recommendations in the report are outlined in this document, which was finalised and approved on 22 December 2016.
