Project Childhood: Independent mid-term evaluation

Summary of publication

This is an independent mid-term evaluation of Project Childhood to combat child sexual exploitation in travel and tourism in Cambodia, Lao PDR, Thailand and Vietnam. Project Childhood commenced in 2010 with an inception phase, followed by an implementation phase and the project will continue until June 2014.

This independent mid-term evaluation assesses progress within and between the Protection and Prevention pillar, lessons learned and relevance to Australian aid's regional program priorities in South East Asia of Project Childhood. The evaluation also provides recommendations on how project effectiveness and efficiency can be strengthened, as well as informs DFAT's management decision beyond 2014.
