MITRA: Reducing Iron Deficiency Anaemia in pregnant women and reducing mortality and morbidity in children under five in two provinces of Indonesia: East Java and East Nusa Tenggara.
The design constitutes part of Australia's larger response to malnutrition in Indonesia. The document outlines some of the issues faced in Indonesia relating to malnutrition and how Nutrition International is implementing an integrated micronutrient supplementation program in 20 districts of East Java and East Nusa Tenggara provinces. The document highlights the objective of the program, the strategy used to implement the program as well as program management arrangements.
