This is the final report for the Safer Communities in Cambodia: Partnership between Australia and The Asia Foundation.
This study seeks to understand the project inventions within the evolving security and policy context in Cambodia.
The research within the study:
- reviewed relevant government policies on security and local governance, focusing in particular on those relating to women and youth
- conducted community assessments in four provinces targeted by CCJAPIII's (Cambodia Criminal Justice Assistance Project) CPCS interventions, in which four CPCS (Crime Prevention and Community Safety) districts and four non-CPCS districts were selected for comparison purposes
- interviewed relevant stakeholders
- analysed the data and validated the findings with relevant stakeholders.
