Summary of publication

The Completion Report details Australia's support provided through the Kiribati Education Improvement Program (KEIP) Phase II, from March 2013 to March 2016.

KEIP is the framework within which Australia and other development partners are supporting the Kiribati Ministry of Education to implement its Education Sector Strategic Plan (2012-2015). KEIP Phase 2 was designed to support two high-level outcomes i) Improve Te-Kiribati language, literacy and numeracy skills of children in Years 1-4; and 2) improve the management, funding and inclusiveness of the education system.

The Completion Report provides the background information on KEIP Phase II, activities implemented, key achievements, financial and resources used and lessons learned.
