Summary of publication

The Joint Partnership Arrangement is between 'pool partners' including Government of Vanuatu ministries and donors (Australia, New Zealand and UNICEF) who have agreed to combine their funds in support of the Vanuatu Education Road Map, and 'non-pool partners' who support the road map without contributing pooled funds. The arrangement implements the principles of the Paris Declaration on Aid Effectiveness. It sets out the responsibilities of the partners, with joint management of education budgeting and performance review through annual and monthly meetings. It includes funding from the Government of Vanuatu and donors, and explains annual work planning, policy review, reporting, and monitoring and evaluation arrangements. It includes responsibilities for procurement and audit.
