Activity architecture for the Australian Sports Outreach Program in the Solomon Islands

Description

This document outlines the architecture of the Australian Sports Outreach Program in the Solomon Islands. It sets out the high level development priorities that are relevant to the program, and the activities that will be undertaken.

The activities are

  • Enhance the capacity of Save the Children to use sport and physical activity to address youth development outcomes, including improved health-related behaviours; youth leadership and participation; and livelihoods
  • Develop in-country partnerships between Save the Children, provincial governments, National Olympic Committee of Solomon Islands, and Solomon Islands Football Federation to increase the recognition and use of Development through Sport activities
