Summary of publication

Cover of ANCP Pacific Cluster Evaluation

The NGO Cooperation Program (ANCP) recognises community support for Australian non-government organisations by subsidising accredited organisations for activities that alleviate poverty in developing countries. ANCP cluster evaluations involve a rapid qualitative assessment of partnerships between Australian NGOs, in-country agencies and other relevant stakeholders to implement ANCP activities.

The Pacific ANCP cluster evaluation assessed a sample of activities of four accredited Australian NGOs and their in-country partners. The NGOs were; Oxfam Australia and Sexual Health and Family Planning Australia in Fiji and International Women' s Development Agency and Save the Children Australia in Vanuatu.

Overall, all the activities were rated Satisfactory, with certain aspects of three activities being rated as Best Practice.
