Description

A World Bank mission with AusAID participation visited Timor-Leste from May 24 to June 4, 2010, to work with the Ministry of Finance (MOF) and development partners on the Mid-Term Review (MTR) of the Planning and Financial Management Capacity Building Program (PFMCBP/the program).

The main mission objectives were to: review PFMCBP achievements and challenges to date; agree priorities for the remainder of the program; explore ways to support MOF's efforts to finalize its Strategic Plan (SP); and agree next steps, if any, on possible support to MOF post-July 2011 when PFMCBP closes. The MTR also looked at ways to strengthen the partnership and policy dialogue between the Government and donors around the PFM reform agenda.
