The Australian Agriculture Visa is no longer an available visa product.

The Government will honour the Memorandum of Understanding with Vietnam and signed implementation arrangements with Vietnam on 1 March 2024. This will enable up to 1,000 Vietnamese nationals to undertake agriculture-related work for up to four years in Australia. Workers are expected to arrive in Australia in 2024.

Only PALM scheme approved employers are eligible to participate in these arrangements, and the scheme’s deed and guidelines will apply, but Vietnam is not a full participant in the PALM scheme.
