2020 ACDGP grantees
A Community Under Fire tells the story of a community radio station in a small town in regional Australia leading the community’s fight against encircling bushfires in 2019/20. The film uses the locals’ stories to show a community coming together to recover from this devastating event. The film premiered on 4 November 2020 with members of the Braidwood community attending. To date, the film has been submitted to festivals and competitions in 55 countries and has been screened internationally in the USA, Japan, Singapore, Germany, Greece, the United Kingdom, the Czech Republic and Romania.
