Proposed program to support implementation of the Aus4ASEAN Futures Initiative

DFAT will soon go to market for a Contractor to support implementation of the Aus4ASEAN Futures Initiative. Services required will likely include the provision of a Panel of Experts and advisers, managing travel and events, as well as grants and other ad hoc requests.

The contractor will ensure the Aus4ASEAN Futures Initiative has ready access to high quality technical expertise for activities in target sectors. The Panel of Experts will provide on-call technical expertise when needed, ensuring access to skills and expertise that can cover the full scope of program investments and help assure the quality of proposals. The advisers will enhance the development of project proposals in collaboration with ASEAN Member States, work with ASEAN Sectoral Bodies and Working Groups as well as assist in the development of project terms of reference. The Contractor is also expected to manage travel and events, mainly for non-ODA eligible countries, utilising DFAT’s non-ODA funding, and potentially managing small grants and responding to other ad hoc requests from DFAT.

Further information will be provided to the market and prospective tenderers in February/March 2023, including via this website. The proposed procurement will be listed on the AusTender website when it is released to market.
