Summary
In response to the Office of Development Effectiveness' Investing in Teachers evaluation report, DFAT supports multi-year studies of teacher development investments in three countries: Timor-Leste, Vanuatu and Laos. The studies focus on addressing two questions from the Investing in Teachers report relating to the extent that Australian investments in professional development of teachers contributed to improved outcomes, and the conditions of success as well as lessons learned to inform future programming. This is the final report for Timor-Leste which covers the findings and recommendations over the three years of the Study (2018, 2019, 2021). This Final Report will contribute to a multi-country report for the Study series, which will explore lessons learnt and recommendations for teacher development in other contexts.
