Summary of publication

The PNG Australia Incentive Fund is a partnership between Australia and PNG that provides grants to high performing organisations to improve service delivery and/or provide economic opportunities for the people of PNG. The Incentive Fund has been running since 2000 across four (4) phases.

The objective of this review was to explore and highlight issues emerging from Phases 1 to 4 of the Incentive Fund Program, with a particular emphasis on Phase 4. The design team made several recommendations which were agreed by management to be considered in the design of Incentive Fund Phase 5 (2023-2031).
