As set out in the Investment Concept Note (to be released with the RFEOI), the new program will progress the Joint Statement of Intent on TVET updated in June 2024 at the Australia-PNG Ministerial Forum, and the twelve recommendations of the Strategic Review of the Papua New Guinea – Australia Partnership in TVET, which was published in September.
The program will run from June 2025 to June 2029 with an estimated value of AUD$80 million over the 4 years.
It is anticipated that DFAT will approach the market through a two-step procurement process in September 2024. The Request for Expressions of Interest will be published on AusTender and updates on the status of the procurement can be found on the Development Procurement Pipeline.
Following the evaluation, DFAT will identify shortlisted respondents to the Expression of Interest on the Development Procurement Pipeline providing other interested organisations with an opportunity to connect with them.
