Ms Al Hilaly is an experienced community engagement practitioner and advisor, whose focus is on ensuring communities of diverse backgrounds have their voices and lived experiences reflected in policies, programs and strategies.
Ms Al Hilaly has worked across government, industry sectors, and not-for-profits to provide strategic advice and prepare and deliver communication strategies to culturally and linguistically diverse communities.
At the Office of Multicultural Interests, she engaged with culturally and linguistically diverse communities in Western Australia, Christmas Island, and Cocos (Keeling) Islands to enhance their social, economic, cultural, and civic participation.
Ms Al Hilaly led the Multicultural Youth Advocacy Network of WA and used her role to empower multicultural young people in advocacy, policy, and youth leadership.
Ms Al Hilaly is passionate about national and global public health and holds a Bachelor of Science in Microbiology, Immunology, and Population Health.
