Project Description

Following the success of the first two Trade Mission in 2016 and 2017, SOUNDS AUSTRALIA seeks to lead a return delegation of artists and industry to attend premier Showcase Conference events in South America, to build upon those foundations and cultivate the key relationships that have been established across Chile, Argentina and Brazil. For the first time in 2018, the tour will also include a side trip to Lima, Peru.

The third South American Trade Mission will continue to contribute to public diplomacy outcomes by positioning Australia as a high quality exporter of contemporary music, a country of professional operators with an appetite to establish long-term, mutually beneficial cultural and business partnerships.

By invitation, SOUNDS AUSTRALIA will take the very best of Australia's business operators in to South America, from diverse and multiple sectors of the music industry, along with selected showcasing artists, chosen by a rigorous jury of expert South American industry professionals.
