Australian Cultural Diplomacy Grants Program
Established in 2011, Down Under Film Festival (DUFF) has presented a diverse program of Australian and New Zealand films to audiences in Berlin and, supported by the Australian Cultural Diplomacy Grants Program, DUFF expanded to present its first festival in Copenhagen, Denmark in 2024.

DUFF delivers a platform for independent films and emerging filmmakers as well as established talent and mainstream content, with a with a special focus on First Nations and Māori storytellers to assist Australian and New Zealand films and filmmakers find new audiences in Europe. DUFF also plays an integral role in providing increased collaboration opportunities for the creative industries by building partnership connections between Australia, Germany and Denmark.

The Australian Cultural Diplomacy Grants Program (ACDGP) supports international projects that tell Australian stories, amplify First Nations voices, deepen bilateral partnerships, and build cultural understanding and connections overseas.
