My Pa, the bushfire and me is a read-aloud story for all ages. This beautifully illustrated book looks at how the 2019-20 bushfires affected rural Victorians. Told through the eyes of a young seventh generation mountain person, the story opens up channels of communication between parents/educators and children, from dealing with grief to surviving the fire. More than 1000 copies of the book are being donated to primary schools and education centres across Victoria.
