This project nurtures cultural understanding and respect among international artists whose work is rooted in the traditions of their lands. Australian Yuin artists, who are restoring their culture, will collaborate with artists from Timor-Leste and Japan. The project enables collaborative residencies, performances, workshops, creation/composition, recording, touring and greater understanding. Through musical collaboration it will foster greater international understanding of cultures whose core beliefs are communicated through voice, rhythm and/or dance.
