Advance release of the Draft (prior to appraisal) AIHSSP Design Document

The Australia Indonesia Partnership reflects Australia's national interest in Indonesia's stability and prosperity by helping Indonesia improve governance, reduce poverty and achieve sustainable development. The proposed AIHSSP aims to support the Government
of Indonesia's plan to strengthen health systems and achieve the health Millennium Development Goals, in particular the maternal mortality MDG. Subject to AusAID quality processes and funding approval, the program will commence in 2012. The proposed program
implementation mechanism includes a role for an implementing service provider. The proposed implementing service provider will support the program by providing the mechanism to recruit, manage, monitor and deliver technical assistance, training and capacity
building services in line with jointly developed (AusAID and Government of Indonesia) work plans. It will also be responsible for managing and contracting a Health Policy Network and the Civil Society Challenge Fund.

Australia Indonesia Health System Strengthening Program (AIHSSP) - Design document and annexes

AusAID plans to tender for the services of an Implementing Service Provider to support the AIHSSP.

This draft version of the AIHSSP Design Document is provided for the information of prospective tenderers in advance of the release of the Request for Tender (RFT). Further adjustments may be made before the release of the Design Document with the RFT.

This proposed procurement is listed on AusTender under AusAID's Annual Procurement Plan as
AusAID1112 – 9. This proposed procurement opportunity may be subject to delays, revision or cancellation. The information contained in this item is provided for planning purposes only and does not represent solicitation or constitute a request
