Ms Frances Sagala

Ms Frances Sagala is a career officer with the Department of Foreign Affairs and Trade and was most recently Director, Regional Maritime Security and South China Sea Section.

She has previously served overseas, including in France. In Canberra, she has worked in leadership roles in DFAT and the Department of Defence.

Ms Sagala holds a Master in Political Science (International Relations) from the Université catholique de Louvain (Belgium) and Universidad de Deusto (Spain), a Bachelor of Arts (Honours) and Bachelor of Laws (Honours) from Monash University.
