Mr Scott Dewar

Mr Dewar is a senior career officer with the Australian Public Service and was most recently Deputy Secretary, International and Security Group, Department of the Prime Minister and Cabinet.

He has previously served overseas as Consul-General in Honolulu and had postings in China and the Republic of Korea.

Mr Dewar holds a Master of Arts in Foreign Affairs and Trade from Monash University and a Bachelor of Arts (Hons) from the University of Melbourne. He speaks Mandarin, Japanese and Korean.
