Ms Katie Smith

Ms Smith is a career officer with the Department of Foreign Affairs and Trade (DFAT) and was most recently Director, Papua New Guinea Political and Torres Strait Section.

She has previously served overseas in Vientiane, Dili and Jakarta.

Ms Smith holds a Master of Environment and Development from the London School of Economics and a Master of International Relations and a Bachelor of Asian Studies from the University of New South Wales.
