Summary of publication

The strategy sets out the development context for Australia's investment in Vietnam's human resources development (HRD). Australia's investment is targeted to specific areas in-line with DFAT's Economic Diplomacy Strategy for Vietnam and the Vietnam Aid Investment Plan. It also complements the HRD activities of other Australian government agencies (such as the Department of Education and Austrade) and development partners in Vietnam. The Strategy has a strong emphasis on increased provision of HRD support for women and disadvantaged groups in Vietnam.
