Humanitarian Partnership Agreement Schedule 2

Summary

The HPA Head Agreement Schedule 2 sets out the rationale, agenda for collaboration and management arrangements of the partnership between AusAID and the six selected accredited Australian NGOs. (2010, 26pp)

Description

In 2011, AusAID entered into a three-year partnership with six selected and accredited Australian Non-Government Organisations (NGOs)–CARE, CARITAS, Oxfam, Plan, Save the Children and World Vision. The AusAID–NGO Humanitarian Partnership Agreements (HPA) is the formal mechanism for engagement with Australian NGOs in rapid onset humanitarian emergency responses. HPA also provides the mechanism for collaboration on programmed disaster risk reduction (DRR) and disaster risk management (DRM) capacity building initiatives implemented by these NGOs. The HPA has been developed with a view to improved strategic engagement and partnership between AusAID and the NGOs. The Head Agreement Schedule 2 outlines agreed partnership commitments to shared objectives, and sets out the agenda for collaboration and management arrangements to institutionalise the AusAID–NGO humanitarian partnership
