Summary of publication
The purpose of this independent review is to:
- Assess the implementation and achievements of two major Democratic Governance programs currently implemented under the Australian aid program in Papua New Guinea, namely: Strongim Pipol Strongim Nesen (SPSN) and the Church Partnership Program Phase 2 (CPP)
- Recommend improvements to strengthen current implementation of both programs and identify lessons to inform the design of future democratic governance programs in PNG, and
- Assess the relevance of the existing democratic governance strategy and whether AusAID has effectively implemented the strategy through its programs.
