Iron and Steel in China and Australia

Photo - See caption below for description

China's iron and steel industry is one of the most dynamic in Asia, accounting
for most of the growth in steel consumption, production and trade in the region
and in fact the world over the past decade. Its development will hold the
key to prospects for the region's iron and steel industry and for major raw
material suppliers like Australia.

Australia and China have complementary endowments in, and requirements for,
steel-making raw materials, technologies and skills.

This report - the most comprehensive currently available - seeks to identify
the major demand, supply and trade trends in the two countries' iron and steel
industries which will set the framework for identifying commercial opportunities.
