Summary of publication
This report documents the lessons learnt from the Joint Initiative on Maternal Newborn and Child Health (Myanmar).
The lessons learning exercise took place between July 2012 and January 2013 and aimed to assess the overall impact of the program to determine the extent to which the initiative achieved its purpose. The document outlines the initiative's impact on hard-to-reach populations and the indirect impact of partnerships, capacity development and lessons for sustainability costs and value for money. This was a collaborative exercise, involving a Technical Reference Group of central JIMNCH stakeholders including representatives from the Myanmar Department of Health, international donors, national public health consultants, an international health economist and a research team from the Burnet Institute.
