Summary of publication

The Head Partnership Agreement between DFAT and The Asia Foundation runs from 2016 to 2020 and stipulates the terms of grant agreements between The Asia Foundation and DFAT made under this head agreement, including reporting, financial management of DFAT funds and child protection. The head agreement does not stipulate any commitment of funds by DFAT.

The agreement includes a description of the initial activities to be funded through the first grant order. These activities include research and activities in four areas: gender and politically-informed programming; cooperation with advanced middle income countries; deepening dialogue with emerging Asian donors; and supporting regional cooperation in South Asia.
