This first implementation schedule under the Australia-Vanuatu Partnership for Development commits Australia and Vanuatu to work jointly to develop infrastructure, recognising its fundamental role in providing economic opportunities and delivering services. It explains planned activities, targets, funding and management arrangements to improve Vanuatu's road, sea and air transport, and to improve access to and affordability of telecommunications and power. It commits Australia to using and strengthening Government of Vanuatu infrastructure management and delivery systems.
