The A$30m Philippines–Australia Public Financial Management Program (PFMP) is a joint initiative of the Governments of Australia and the Philippines which aims to support the implementation of the PFM Reform Roadmap over five years (2011-2016). The overarching strategy of Australia's support has been to make targeted, strategic contributions to the reform process by filling gaps and overcoming bottlenecks in reform design and availability of technical skills so that the reforms can be strengthened and advanced. The results of the evaluation show that The PFM Reform effort currently underway in the Philippines is both highly significant and deeply impressive.
