This document contains a proposal for an AusAID-UNDP partnership on climate change in India. Key outputs include strengthening the capacity for climate change planning and implementation processes, addressing climate change by supporting energy efficiency interventions in the energy intensive small and medium enterprises in the steel milling sector and reducing vulnerabilities to climate change and disaster risk through integrated water management.

It contains background to the proposal, purpose and scope, a plan for capacity building, linkages with current UNDP portfolio, budget estimate and timeframe, management arrangements, and monitoring and evaluation.
