Description

After wide consultation within the Government of Papua New Guinea and the community, the National AIDS Council developed the document Papua New Guinea National Strategic Plan on HIV/AIDS 2006-2010. This plan sets out the basis for a national coordinated multisectoral response to the HIV/AIDS epidemic for the next five years.

Australia has made an explicit commitment to the National Strategic Plan by using it as the foundation document for this strategy.
