This document sets out an implementation strategy for 'A More Efficient and Effective Public Sector', which is Priority Outcome 1 of the Tonga–Australia Partnership for Development.

The Partnership will build on existing Australian assistance for strengthening the public sector in policy formulation and implementation, and public financial and economic management.

This document details an implementation strategy to achieve these aims, including a set of performance indicators for 2009–10.
