Summary of publication

This document outlines the proposed program design for the Australian Federal Police development program in Solomon Islands from 1 July 2017 to 30 June 2021. The Solomon Islands Police Development Program (SIPDP or the 'Police Program') is a key component in a major, multi-decade, state building commitment by Australia in Solomon Islands.

The design document sets out the key elements of Australian Government support for policing in Solomon Islands. It is one of three program designs, complemented by an overarching delivery strategy, which provides a comprehensive package of assistance for policing, the justice sector, and governance support.
