This document provides the details of the Partnership Framework between AusAID and the United Nations High Commissioner for Refugees.

Description

In September 2012, Australia and the United Nations High Commissioner for Refugees (UNHCR) signed a four-year (2013-2016), $105 million dollar Partnership Framework. This Partnership Framework commits Australia to provide UNHCR with $93 million in core funding and $12 million for UNHCR's sexual and gender based violence protection initiatives. The provision of this funding will assist UNHCR in its role safeguarding the rights and well-being of millions of refugees and other displaced persons around the world.
