Summary of publication
This report summarises the department's progress in Timor-Leste from January 2012 to June 2013, which is implemented in accordance with the Australia–Timor-Leste Country Strategy 2009–2014 and Strategic Planning Agreement for Development 2011.
Australia's support to Timor-Leste increased agricultural productivity, and improved rural roads and access to clean water and sanitation. Our assistance improved access to primary schools, vocational training and health services. Our governance program strengthened the core capacity of central agencies.
