Proposed program to support design/implementation of the new Strengthening Institutional Relationships in Southeast Asia through government-to-government partnerships (G2G) program

DFAT will soon go to market for a Contractor to support the design/implementation of the new Strengthening Institutional Relationships in Southeast Asia through government-to-government partnerships (G2G) program.

DFAT proposes to establish a Southeast Asia G2G program that will support selected Australian agencies to build, sustain and influence relationships with counterparts in the region, share knowledge and tools, and build policy and technical capability.

Delivery through a managing contractor for a design-implement contract for a new Strengthening Institutional Relationships in Southeast Asia through government-to-government partnerships (G2G) program, will be tested through open two step procurement. DFAT will look to understand an organisations ability to design the program, whilst presenting skills, experience and technical expertise to implement following the approved design. The estimated investment of ODA is up to $50m over 5 years. The program value may increase over the life of the contract and DFAT needs to be able to assess an organisations ability to adapt, surge in delivery, manage a diverse range of stakeholders whilst maintaining effectiveness. If this is your organisation, you may be interested in this opportunity.

DFAT is still undertaking internal approvals for this program and will keep industry updated regarding progress during the procurement.

Further information will be provided to the market and prospective tenderers in March 2023. The proposed procurement will be listed on the AusTender website when it is released to market.
