Honduras
Bilateral relations
Australia and Honduras established diplomatic relations in 1984. Australia's Ambassador in Mexico City holds non-resident accreditation to Honduras. Australia has an Honorary Consul in Tegucigalpa.
Honduras does not have official representation in Australia.
Australia and Honduras are members of the World Trade Organization (WTO), World Bank, International Monetary Fund (IMF) and the United Nations (UN). Both participate in the Forum for East Asia-Latin America Cooperation (FEALAC).
Honduras is a member of the Association of Caribbean States (ACS), Organization of American States (OAS), Community of Latin American and Caribbean States (CELAC), Central American Integration System (SICA) and other regional organisations.
The Australian Embassy in Mexico manages a Direct Aid Program in Honduras.
