On 19 November 2019 in New Delhi, senior officials from Australia's Department of Foreign Affairs and Trade, Indonesia's Ministry of Foreign Affairs and India's Ministry of External Affairs met for the third India-Australia-Indonesia Trilateral Senior Officials' Dialogue.
The meeting built on the success of the previous meetings held in Canberra in 2018 and Bogor in 2017 and continued open and frank dialogue between the Indo-Pacific countries.
Officials discussed their respective foreign policy priorities, counter-terrorism efforts, the ASEAN Indo-Pacific Outlook, India's Indo-Pacific Oceans Initiative, developments in the Indo-Pacific and in regional forums, development assistance programs, maritime issues and humanitarian and disaster relief efforts.
Participants agreed to progress cooperative initiatives in the lead-up to a trilateral meeting in 2020.
