Consistent economic growth

Australia experienced 29 years of uninterrupted annual growth from 1990-91 to 2018-19, unequalled by any other developed economy (Australian Bureau of Statistics).

Highly skilled workforce

Australia has the ninth highest proportion of 25–64 year olds with tertiary qualifications in 2020 (OECD Education at a Glance 2021, Table A1.1). Approximately 47% of Australia’s workforce has a tertiary qualification (ABS, 2021, Education and Work).
