Project description

Following the success of the inaugural Trade Mission to South America, SOUNDS AUSTRALIA will lead a return delegation to build upon those foundations and cultivate the key relationships that were established across Chile, Argentina and Brazil in 2016.

In addition to industry participants, this year will see the inclusion of Australian showcasing artists, performing to the local music industry and new South American audiences.

Whilst it is imperative to return and build upon the connections that have already been made, it was discovered during the first trade mission that Mexico and Colombia were also extremely important music markets and with that being the case, SOUNDS AUSTRALIA aims to facilitate two smaller delegations to these territories, that will include some of the same delegates from the inaugural South American Trade Mission for market-knowledge continuity.
